ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Master of Science in Science Education Major in Chemistry is designed to upgrade the knowledge and skills of science professionals in the areas of instruction and research in science education, particularly chemistry. The program offers high levels of specialized teaching and learning in pure/applied chemistry and chemistry education to equip students with scientific and pedagogical expertise that enable them to take leadership roles and advance the quality of science education. The program is ideal for those: seeking to make a difference in teacher education; teaching at the secondary, tertiary and graduate levels; teaching and research institutions; government and private sectors and other science-based organizations.
