The Trailblazer is an independent organization that serves as the official Student Publication of USTP Cagayan de Oro. It upholds the freedom of thoughts and expressions; upholds opinions without subsequent censorship that would inhibit the freedom of expression. It also promotes student involvement for upliftment of their rights and welfare; advocates for the freedom of the press and the rights of the students to be informed, and to commit to democratic, nationalistic, progressive, and moral values.
