The Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CiTL) conducted a two-day curriculum review for the undergraduate programs of USTP Panaon and USTP Oroquieta last June 2-3, 2022, at the USTP Training Center in Panaon, Misamis Occidental.
Mr. Arvin E. Narvaza, CiTL Program Head, set the environment and ensured that the participants are clear about their desired outcomes. He also made sure that they know the plan and the expectations for the activity.
Dr. Amparo V. Dinagsao, CiTL Director, was the driving force behind the activity. She provided inputs on the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Plan, program-level assessment tools for Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) and Program Outcomes (POs), course-level assessment tools for COs, performance indicators, the curriculum mapping process, and program level.
The 2-day training session was packed with information and insights that motivated the faculty to look deeper into the curriculum. The activity also challenged the faculty to determine what worked, what did not, and what needed to be modified for the next time the campuses would implement their respective curriculums.
