Claveria Mayor, USTP Claveria discuss collaboration & cooperation

On July 10, 2023, Mayor Meraluna S. Abrogar, Municipal Mayor of Claveria, Misamis Oriental, met with USTP Claveria Chancellor Dr. Renato O. Arazo and other key university officials for an exploratory meeting to foster collaboration and cooperation. The meeting occurred in the Mayor’s Office at the Municipal Hall of Claveria, Misamis Oriental.
Apart from the Chancellor, the invitation brought together other key officials of the USTP Claveria, namely Engr. Dennis Yamuta, Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance; Dr. Argin Gullanes, Vice Chancellor for Student Services; and Dr. Eric Randy R. Politud, Vice Chancellor for Research.
The meeting aimed to explore potential areas of collaboration on quality education, admission, research collaboration, extension, and internationalization. It also strived to identify opportunities for students.
Mayor Abrogar expressed her pleasure in the timely visit of Chancellor Arazo and conveyed her excitement to forge partnerships and collaborations. She cited possible areas of collaboration in studies and offering assistance to students. As an instruction and student services expert, she conveyed her willingness to help and assist the USTP Claveria.
In response, Dr. Arazo and the university’s key officials expressed their appreciation and gratitude for the opportunity to visit the Mayor and explore potential areas for collaboration.
