Project ACUITY strengthens Cybersecurity in Barangay Lourdes, Alubijid

The Cybercrime Investigation Coordinating Center (CICC) and the Department of Information and Communication Technology Region 10 (DICT 10) partnered with the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) Alubijid to carry out Project ACUITY (Anti-Cybercrime Upskilling Initiative for Community) for Barangay Lourdes, Alubijid, Misamis Oriental.
The activity was held on February 28, 2024, at the Barangay Covered Court, Lourdes, Alubijid, Misamis Oriental. It was attended by the members of the Barangay Council, the Lourdes Alubijid National High School teachers and students, and community members.
Project ACUITY is an initiative under the Bridging Research and Innovations for the Community’s Development through Goal-oriented Extension Projects (BRIDGE).
To effectively strive for a more secure and resilient future, a comprehensive community effort is necessary. This entails not only adapting to change but also leading in shaping the future of cybersecurity.
