USTP Alubijid joins CERT Essential Training

Faculty members of the USTP Alubijid in the person of Engr. Jasper Jay A. Jementiza and Engr. Wilfred Clark J. Sevilla participated in the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) Essential Training last July 31, 2023, at the N Hotel in Cagayan de Oro City, with the theme “Building Cyber Champions: Stronger through Cyber Awareness and Action.”
The Philippine National Computer Emergency Response Team (CERTPH) of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) facilitated the event in collaboration with the Cybersecurity Bureau of the DICT Regional Office 10.
The training session aims to provide the participants with a deep understanding of the technical aspects of cybersecurity. Participants were also taught the skills to protect their organizations from cyber threats and effectively respond to cyber incidents.
