“The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines believes in the power of collaboration. With the key players for development: the Academe, Industry, Government, and the Community’s collaborative effort in support for an inclusive development, we anticipate developing the innovation ecosystem in the Region,” USTP System President Dr. Ambrosio B. Cultura II said.
Working together and empowering USTP’s quadruple helix – the Academe, Industry, Government, and the Community (AIGC) – will pave the way for the development of the Science and Technology (S&T) Parks, more specifically in AGILA S&T Park in Alubijid, Misamis Oriental.
“What we are doing today is planting a seed for the future. This strong collaborative partnership between the BFP and USTP will contribute to our ability to achieve a fire-safe community,” FSSupt Carlos T. Dueñas, BFP Region X Director, said.
The BFP Region X is the first government agency to signify relocation at the AGILA S&T Park. USTP has allotted 10,000 square meters for the BFP which will be used exclusively for the establishment of a Regional Training School, Dormitories, Administration Building, and Sports Complex, among others.
