USTP CDO SHS secures 3rd place in PANAGTIGI: Innovation Quiz Bowl

Three (3) Grade 12 students from the Senior High School department of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Cagayan de Oro (USTP CDO) have won 3rd place in the NorMinRIPE 2024’s PANAGTIGI: Innovation Quiz Bowl against eight (8) schools in Cagayan de Oro City. The competition was held on April 22, 2024 at the SM City CDO Uptown Activity Hall.
The representatives were Alexandra Victoria Bon Dumotan, Kathlyn May Uba, and AG Shun Clark Aparece, trained by Ms. Leah Tabosares, the academic head of the SHS Department.
Gusa Regional Science High School ranked first, while Capitol University ranked second.
PANAGTIGI: Innovation Quiz Bowl is one of the activities of Northern Mindanao’s National Innovation Day celebration – NorMinRIPE.
The other senior high schools that participated in the competition were Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan, Lourdes College, PHINMA College – Puerto Campus, PHINMA College – Carmen Campus, and Cagayan de Oro National High School.
