USTP Claveria, HNHS conduct Career Guidance Orientation for SHS students

To equip graduating senior high school students with essential knowledge for their future careers, Hinaplanan National High School (HNHS) invited the Career Center and Industry Relations Office (CCIRO) of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Claveria, Misamis Oriental (USTP Claveria), to conduct a Career Guidance Orientation for Grade 12 students.

The orientation was led by Ms. Zenelyn S. Labay, MBM, USTP Claveria CCIRO Coordinator, alongside Ms. Angel Mae M. Maniscan, CCIRO Staff, and Ms. Christine Faith Agcopra, SHS Immersionist, on February 21, 2025.

During the session, Ms. Labay delivered insightful discussions on career exploration, decision-making strategies, and the academic programs offered by the College of Engineering and Technology and the College of Arts and Sciences. Meanwhile, Ms. Maniscan provided updates on USTP Claveria and highlighted the programs available under the College of Agriculture, emphasizing career opportunities.

The event was well-received by both Grade 12 students and faculty. Ms. Shaira Mae S. Dela Rosa, Teacher II, and Mr. Frank J. Evangelista, Jr., Principal I of HNHS, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to USTP Claveria for accepting their invitation and providing valuable career guidance to their graduating students.
