USTP Claveria holds first Monday Convocation to mark the start of 2025

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Claveria (USTP Claveria) officially kicked off 2025 with its first Monday convocation on January 6, 2025, at the USTP Claveria Student Lounge. The event brought together faculty, staff, and university campus officials to strengthen community ties and prepare for the upcoming semester.

The Monday Convocation began with an ecumenical invocation song and was highlighted by the flag-raising ceremony with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, USTP Hymn and other parts of the program.

Dr. Renato O. Arazo, USTP Claveria Chancellor, delivered some announcements. Aside from updating the campus regarding its GAA-approved budget for 2025, he also highlighted some administrative updates, including a memo about civil service guidelines related to forced leave, compensatory time off, and the approval process for service extensions.

The convocation program, setting a positive and collaborative tone for the academic term, was hosted by Ms. Precyfel Jampit, Executive Assistant to the Director for Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation.
