The week-long celebration aimed to display products that are unique from the twenty-three (23) municipalities and two (2) cities across Misamis Oriental in the hopes that the said products could help stimulate tourism in their respective areas. Among the exhibitors was the Agri-Ecotourism Committee of USTP Claveria.
According to Committee Chairperson Dr. Maribel S. Tizo in an interview following the PTC’s first-ever quarterly council meeting on September 27, 2022, the USTP, as academic institution, “can help contribute in creating policy with regards to tourism in the province.”

Considering that USTP Claveria has existing agri-ecotourism spots in its campus, Dr. Tizo added that the University can tap on that resource to contribute to the tourism of the province, generate income, and contribute to the economy. She also shared that the Committee is currently drafting the USTP Claveria Agri-Ecotourism Development Plan.
