The Clean-up Drive initiative was introduced by Dr. Argin A. Gulanes, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Services (VCSAS) of USTP Claveria, as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to instill environmental consciousness among students, faculty, and staff. Before the event, Engr. Aiza G. Icalina, Pollution Control and Safety Officer, thoroughly inspected key areas within the university that required attention. This assessment played a crucial role in identifying and designating specific locations for the clean-up efforts. Student organizations also supported the event, emphasizing the importance of collective action for a cleaner and greener environment.

Students from the College of Agriculture, College of Engineering and Technology, and College of Arts and Sciences actively participated in the clean-up drive. They were each assigned to different areas within the university premises. Faculty and staff members supervised the activity, ensuring the proper conduct of tasks and monitoring.

Students expressed their commitment to maintaining cleanliness beyond the event, aligning with the university’s mission to instill social and environmental consciousness among its stakeholders.

Through this initiative, USTP Claveria continues to lead by example, fostering a culture of environmental responsibility that extends beyond the campus and into the wider community.
