The objective of the activity was to draw upon the expertise and experiences of Vietnamese institutions to bolster innovation, competitiveness, and sustainable growth within the Philippine metals industry.
The visit spanned multiple institutions that advance research, industrial development, innovation, and technology in Vietnam. These included the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Development Center-Vietnam Industry Agency, Innovation and Technology Service Center, Ministry of Science and Technology, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, and the University of Economics – Technology for Industries.
Insights gleaned from these engagements are poised to significantly benefit NorMMEIC, especially in fostering excellence in engineering education and driving impactful innovation within the region.
