USTP Oroquieta earns Level 1 AACCUP Accreditation for BTLED, BSIT programs

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Oroquieta, Misamis Occidental (USTP Oroquieta) successfully passed the Level 1 Accreditation for the Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLED) and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) programs by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP).
The AACCUP team conducted the accreditation virtually through Zoom meetings from November 6 to 10, 2023, and released the results on February 26, 2024.
The accreditation team was led by Dr. Marcela T. Caluscosin, with Dr. Nel Bryan C. Tugelida of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University, Dr. Rizza S. Gumbao of Iloilo State University of Fisheries Science and Technology, Dr. Al D. Horteza of Cebu Technological University, and Engr. Noemi P. Reyes of Bulacan State University, assigned as accreditors for BTLEd and BSIT, respectively.
The significant accomplishment showcases USTP Oroquieta’s unwavering dedication to providing high-quality education to its students.
