USTP Oroquieta seals partnership with DTI Lanao del Norte

On April 16, 2024, the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Oroquieta, Misamis Occidental (USTP Oroquieta) sealed a partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Lanao del Norte by signing the Memorandum of Agreement supporting both parties’ advocacy in facilitating the strategic implementation of livelihood training for the underprivileged residents of the locality.
DTI Provincial Director Ms. Jane Marie Tabucan inked the agency’s commitment with USTP Oroquieta.

The collaboration between USTP Oroquieta and DTI – Lanao del Norte is driven by a shared goal and commitment to empower micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) throughout the province. A key advocacy of the Research and Community Relations Coordinator, Ms. Ma. Liberty B. Doncillo, is to provide livelihood training in Food Safety Awareness and Entrepreneurship. Both parties are dedicated to ensuring the success of the program’s implementation from April 2024 – December 2026.
