USTP Panaon strengthens innovation efforts at 1st Technology Transfer Conference

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Panaon, Misamis Occidental (USTP Panaon) participated in the 1st Technology Transfer Conference 2025, which focused on fostering technological innovation and research collaboration. The event was held on February 7, 2025, at Chali Resort and Conference Center in Cagayan de Oro City.

Representing USTP Panaon were Acting Campus Director Dr. Leny Q. Añasco and Technology Transfer Focal Person Ms. Aries Mae P. Calam, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to bridging academic research with real-world applications. The conference gathered key stakeholders from academia, industry, and government to discuss strategies for accelerating technology commercialization.
“Our participation underscores USTP Panaon’s dedication to transforming academic discoveries into practical solutions,” said Dr. Añasco.
