USTP receives CHED Certificate of Commendation for Internationalization Excellence

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) proudly received the esteemed CHED Internationalization Award during the Internationalization Champions of Nation-Building and Sustainability (ICONS) Awards 2024, held on December 16, 2024, at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Manila.
The Certificate of Commendation, awarded by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), honors USTP’s enduring commitment to internationalizing Philippine higher education. It recognizes the university’s exemplary performance in globally recognized rankings, particularly:
- Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Asia University Rankings – Rank 901+
- Times Higher Education (T.H.E.) Impact Rankings – Rank 1001–1500
The ICONS Awards, a premier platform for celebrating the achievements of Philippine Higher Education Institutions (PHEIs), highlight institutions that excel in sustainability, internationalization, and global performance.
