USTP SHS student, Gold Medalist in Palarong Pampook 2023

Competing with the team players from Tangub City and Misamis Oriental, the Spartan Pride, Ms. Bethel Joyce Sadora smashed her opponent with a thrilling 2-0 and 2-1 winning streak, respectively, during the Palarong Pampook 2023 under the Table Tennis category held at the Gaisano Grand Mall in Gingoog City last May 4-6, 2023.
Ms. Sadora played under the singles and team event categories, together with Liceo de Cagayan University and Regional Science High School (Region 10) team players. The event was a double elimination system and under the singles-doubles-singles category.
She advanced to the finals with a twice-to-beat advantage and a score of 2-0 against her opponent, Misamis Oriental. The athlete also shared that their coach led a manifestation of “the universe will align for us” before their big game leading to a positive result. Ms. Sadora achieved a gold medal and will compete in the Palarong Pambansa 2023 this upcoming July.
